We are facing some issues with the Dev team on the design version. How Can I keep seprate dev version and the design team version? Do we have any tool or functionality so I can create two separate versions and maintain them?

If you’d like to keep 2 separate versions of your file (one for the developers and one for the designers), you’ll have a couple of options:




  • You can use the Branching feature (if you’re on the Organization or Enterprise plan) so your designers can keep working on different versions while your devs work on the main file version.




  • Otherwise I suggest you duplicate your file and create a version just for your devs. That way, your designers will still have the possibility to work on the main file.




Saving a specific version via your file history would be another option but it might not be as straightforward as the other options above and it wouldn’t allow you to maintain it.
