Hey Ely, I’ve found this workaround in a Youtube Video. They use Adobe Illustrator as a workaround. Could you let me know if that helps?

Hi Ely1,

How to copy/paste from Photoshop to Figma:

When finished creating your picture on Photoshop, apply the mask to your image it will then flatten the image, then create a rectangle with rectangle marque tool (m) around your picture then you copy (ctrl+c or cmd+c) then go to Figma paste it (ctrl+v or cmd+v).

I suppose you must have found the way since, but at least it’s there for anyone else who need it too 🙂

Cheers

Check out this plugin! It allows you to bring photoshop files to Figma, without copying & pasting manually.

Photoshop importer - import your photoshop files directly into Figma & FigJam

It has white background when I pasted onto Figma, from photoshop. I used cmd C and cmd shift C.

You should definitely try Codia AI Psd2Figma: Photoshop to Editable Figma for importing Photoshop files into Figma. It makes the whole process super fast and easy, and the best part is that it imports the files with fully editable layers, just like they were in Photoshop! It’s almost like a perfect import. I highly recommend giving it a shot!
