Could you please confirm if the file “Material Design Kit” is published and is enabled for your current file?

If so could you try unpublishing and then republishing the entire library? Note that doing so won’t break any existing connections with subscribed files.

Here’s how to re-publish a library file:

1. 
   

   Click on the library icon in the Assets panel to open the team library modal

   
   


2. 
   

   Click on the current file

   
   


3. 
   

   Click “Unpublish file” at the bottom of the modal

   
   


4. 
   

   Re-open the team library modal

   
   


5. 
   

   Click “Publish file”

   
   

If that doesn’t help, and even when the library is published again the component isn’t in the Assets panel, let’s try publishing a controlled update to the component instead:

1. 
   

   Go to the main component, apply a small change to a property of the component. For example, change the opacity or add a stroke - just something small that’s easy for you to remember and undo afterwards.

   
   


2. 
   

   Publish the update.

   
   


3. 
   

   Go to a subscribed file, accept library updates and see if the library remains up to date.

   
   


4. 
   

   Go back to the main component and reverse whatever test change was applied.

thanks for the prompt answer. I do not have something like "unpublish file " is that dialog. I also recognized that I have this file 4 times within the dialog with always a different styles count (see screeshot).

Meanwhile I can add one of the 4 and this one appears unter assets. But the others I cannot load.

Hey @Reineke, apologies for the delayed response! Our team is assuming that the duplication is coming from the fact that it’s a Community file - these won’t automatically update when the new components are added to it.

We’d need if possible files access and a screen recoding showing which libraries working correctly and which not. When providing file access please invite support-share@figma.com with “can edit” permission so we can look into this further? Note that users with @figma.com emails on your team do not count towards your billing.
