Component Overrides & Animations Not Working (Figma Issue)

Hi Figma Support,

Since yesterday, I can’t edit text overrides in my existing button/input components with variants.

  • Happens in browser & desktop, multiple accounts, old file versions.

  • New components work fine, old ones like tooltips are fine.

  • Tested without extensions, cleared cache, restarted Figma → still broken.

  • Attaching video demo.

Looks like a regression affecting variant text overrides.

Are you still having issues with variant text overrides? 

From what you’ve described, this may have been a bug that our team is currently investigating and working towards a fix. If you’re still having trouble, please let me know if there’s been any recent new developments with this issue, and I’ll be happy to send this information over to the team.
