We have a note comment component which uses the dropdown icon component inside. 
The dropdown icon has the following actions: Edit & Clear. 

When i choose edit i want to link the note comment variant - default to the variant edit. But for as now I think it is not possible to link an option from another component to a new variant for the note comment component.
