Zerui

Sometimes there are Emojis or CJK Characters in Figma file name. A url with Emojis or CJKs makes so many troubles. Please turn Emojis or CJKs into UTF-8 as before.

@Zerui hello - can you give more details on what happens for you when you add CJK/Emojis into your file titles? Does the link not work? Does it direct to somewhere unexpected?

Is it only when you use the shortcut, or if you hit the share button + copy link, is there still a problem?

Hi there.
Here’s the record. It only happens when I using the shortcut “Cmd + L”. And still a problem now.

I’ve added support-share@figma.com as editor to this file. If this helped.

Thanks! That is helpful – I’m going to file a bug ticket for this, since it does look strange to me. I will update you when I hear more on my end.

Hey @Zerui - just a quick update: the bug ticket I filed is being discussed by engineering, but I unfortunately don’t have a timeline on when this will be fully addressed.

I’ll do my best to send another update when I get additional info.
