This issue occurs within the desktop application on Windows.
Chinese characters can be entered without issue, but after punctuation marks are inserted, such as a comma (‘，’) or a period (‘。’), the text entry ceases to function. No character display or be entered.
The text input resumes functioning if the punctuation mark is deleted or if a space is inserted instead.
In contrast, text input operates smoothly in the Figma web version.

I wish I had a Windows environment to reproduce this issue but, unfortunately, I don’t have one at the moment.
Is this issue happening with a specific font or does it involve several fonts?
If possible, could you please share a quick video recording of the issue? It would be extremely helpful to see the entire Figma screen, including the properties and layers in the left and right panels, with the relevant layers expanded.

@Junko3 I used the default font ‘inter’. It’s a common issue with any specific operation. You could text any chinese characters to test it. If you input any punctuation after some chinese characters then you can’t input any more.
