From your screen recording, it looks like you’re trying to connect a variant instance that’s nested in a higher level variant set to a different variant. This is unfortunately not possible.

What are you ultimately trying to build? Are you able to share a link to your file?

I am following this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uI3k9Ol-Mp4 on creating a drop down menu

I did it successfully one time but I had to change the font size and box size to accommodate and it never worked again. I even tried a new canvas.
