Update: I was able to install the Beta version but the “normal” one is still giving me the sane error
                
     
                                    
            Hello! I checked in with the support team on this, and wanted to grab some info from you.
First, I’m thinking you do already, but can you check that you meet the minimum requirements for the desktop app? I know you mentioned being able to install the beta, but want to cover all bases just in case.

Yes, my Mac meets all the minimum requirements for the desktop app.

This is usually solved by fully uninstalling all Figma apps (including beta) using an app remover, restarting your computer, and trying to install again. I don’t have a specific uninstaller app I can recommend.
