I have the same problem

I just tried to signup to the waitlist and it seems that Figma removed this option.

Am I missing something? Did they just stopped rolling out UI3?

The same thing happened to me, I guess they are starting to roll it out to a limited number of people.

I had access to UI3 but reverted to UI2 shortly after. I no longer have the ability to toggle back to UI3

I have the same problem, I was confused that one of my accounts had the updated UI 3 but the other one didn’t update automatically, I thought I just got lucky for the one, and for the other, I thought I should join the wait list …but they remove the option.

Anyhow I came across an extension that converted the Figma UI to UI3

To give you some clarification about the rollout of UI3 and AI betas,

the waitlist for Figma AI has closed, but we are excited to share that we have begun rolling out UI3 to all Figma users and will continue to do so incrementally. Our teams are working towards our goal of ensuring that 100% of our users have access to UI3 in the coming months. We’re unable to provide a specific timeline as we want to ensure that we can maintain a high quality of service and experience for our users. Please note that Figma AI will be introduced separately from UI3 going forward. Once you’ve been granted access to UI3, you’ll see a modal in Figma inviting you to explore the latest updates. When you have been granted access to Figma AI, you will see a new button in the toolbar.

The funny thing is that the devs in our office have got the UI update but it is still not available for the designers 😅

Our PMs got the update before the designers did lol. Kind of embarrassing for us. Most of us still don’t have it.

Months??? We were told weeks at Config. I’d rather not spend the next 6 months using two different UIs.

More important: I’m a design systems lead, and I’m supposed to be teaching my design teams how to use the new UI, as well as updating our design system for the new specs. But my work account hasn’t updated, even though I signed up on day one for the waiting list. Ironically, many of my designers have UI3, even though they never signed up.

Is there a way to give priority to Design roles? I have POs / Engineers who have the updated UI, doesn’t really make sense.
