Can Figma Make use our design system?

I just want to second this as a need to make Figma Make truly effective in product development.

Figma + Code Connect allows you to couple your figma library with your code components so this seems like a necessary step to making the tool useful for existing teams and products.

This feature would be a gamechanger. Figma Make is incredible because it allows me to skip the tedious work of prompting AI for the css I want by pasting my Figma frame. Allowing it to use my components and/or libraries would supercharge this far further.

Happy to hear you’re excited to use your own design systems in Figma Make. While there currently isn’t a way to use an entire library, you can use predefined components from design systems you have access to as well as work with templates that follow design system guidelines. 
 

There are two ways to attach Figma designs to a prompt:

1. Search for a design

   • In the prompt box, click  Attach design and search for the design, component, or Community file that you want to attach.

2. Paste a design

   • Copy and paste designs from your Figma Design files into the prompt box.
