Button Not Redirecting to External Link in Figma Site

I’m currently building a website using Figma Site, and I’m trying to make a button redirect to an external URL (e.g., https://google.com). I’ve set the link properly in the button settings, but when I preview or publish the site, clicking the button does nothing

Has anyone experienced this?


Is there something I might be missing, or is this a bug/limitation of Figma Site?

Would really appreciate any insights or solutions. Thanks!

    The settings looks like correct. Can you share the public URL so we can test it? 

    If not, I'd suggest you inspect the button element using the browser DevTools and check for possible misconfiguration or any other conflicts.

    Solved! So I have a hero image below the button.

    and when inspected using dev tools it turns out that the layer of the image ‘covers’ the button, therefore the button cannot be clicked. thanks for suggesting to use dev tools!
