Auto layout no longer functioning as normal?

Hi all,

Did Figma change the way auto layout operates?

I always used to able to highlight 2 (or more) auto layout frames, and then add auto layout to that selection, but am no longer able to do so.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, because this is driving me crazy.

When I add a new element, everything moves to the top, instead of keeping the alignment I settled previously. In this example (image) everything supposed to be aligned to the top-right, so when I add a new element, the rest of the elements should move down, not up… Loos at the red line in image 1 I added to identify the initial position of the frame.

Yes you are right sorry. I’ve been too frustrated with it.
Here are the problems I’m experiencing:

The properties from the frames are not working for me. For example, I apply the auto layout to a frame, and I set the W and H as “Hug”, but when I add another element, the frame doesn’t hug the elements and doesn’t grow.
I set the alignment on the auto layout to the top-right, but in the frame, it is aligned to the top-left. Here is an image:
