Asset Export Fix: How to get the minimal Bounding Box for complex Vector Icons?

Hello,

I am facing this problem:
My app-developer encountered an asset export issue. A complex icon, composed of stacked vectors (group), is being downloaded with an excessive amount of blank whitespace around it. The actual icon occupies only a small fraction of the exported asset's bounding box.

What is the root cause of this behavior and what is the cleanest method to rectify this on the master asset so the developer receives only the minimally necessary area for the icon?

I already tried to frame the group, to make it a component, change the export settings and the union selection function, but nothing worked so far.

Can you help?
Thank you
