Hi,

I applied for Edu verfication and it got approved last year, and this year for the new set of students, its asking for approvals again. I have submitted the required forms and still nothing happening. Is there any timelimit on that. Please guide. Thanks.

Yes, I can confirm that all Education teams verified before August 27, 2025 will need to reverify their education status.

To cover the general steps, if you are an Higher student, you’ll need to submit via Sheer ID:

  1. Log in to Figma using the account you want to verify. If you have a school-issued email address, please use it.
  2. Visit the Education status application page: https://www.figma.com/education/apply.
  3. Select Higher Ed as your institution type.
  4. Agree to the terms of service.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Complete the SheerID form with your school and personal details.

If you’ve already done this, SheerID will send you an update soon. If you’re still having trouble or want to double-check, you can reach them directly via the SheerID Support form.
