I have the same question.

In the settings area you should see a section for AI, but I know not everyone got it all at the same time. We just got access to it a  couple weeks ago.

If you're not seeing the AI features, it could be due to one of the following reasons:

• You're not in the beta yet: AI is rolling out gradually and will be available to all paid plans by the end of April 2025.

• You're on the Starter plan: AI features are only available on paid plans.

• Your team/org is opted out: If your admin has opted out of AI, the features won’t appear. Reach out to them if needed.

• You're on an Education plan: AI isn’t available on Education plans. For questions, contact education@figma.com.

• You're using Figma for Government: AI features aren’t supported on Government accounts.

To get access in Figma AI features in Figma Design  you can access Figma AI tools using Actions in the Figma Design toolbar.

If you don’t have access to Figma AI yet—or if an admin has opted out of Figma AI for your team or organization—you won’t be able to use these features and will see the previous  Actions icon instead

My plan is educational and I have had this account for more than 4 years. But my intern has had an account for 1 year and ai is active for him. What is the problem?

Hey Arezoo, Figma’s AI features are currently only available to paid plans, and we are not granting access to educational plans at this time. That said, your intern may have received access when we were first rolling out AI features in Beta in last year, or if their account wasn't flagged as educational at the time.
