I created multiple components using two design elements, and the two components each have a purple outline. (This is not the dotted out) Does anyone know what the purple outline means?

With the dotted lines, it is an interactive component. You can get more information in this help center article: Interactive component
If your whole file turned purple outlines, you may have accidentally toggled ‘Outline’ view on. Here’s here to find it to switch it back to the regular view:
