There are rate limits in place to prevent abuse. In most cases, you can try again after an hour of your last attempt. If you’re still unable to log in, you may need to wait a maximum of 24 hours. 

Alternatively, to remove the Google SSO log in option from your account and change to email and password.
 
You can use the password reset feature to assign a password to your account and sign in without Google SSO. Here's how to do this:
 

1. Visit https://www.figma.com/login
2. Click "Forgot Password"
3. Enter your Google email address to send yourself a password-reset email
4. Follow the link in the email you receive next to set a password for your account
5. Log into Figma using your newly created password

 
From there, you will need to do the following:
 

1. Open the file browser and click your profile in the top-left corner to open the account menu.
2. Select Settings to open the settings modal.
3. Select the Account tab to update your details
4. Click Change email underneath your email address
5. Click Change password to reset your password.
6. Click Save to apply your changes.

 
When you click the confirmation link from your email, make sure you log in a final time with the original email address or password on the account. That will verify the change and link your account to your new details moving forward.
