Hi there,

Sorry for the trouble! Our team replied to your email on August 24th. If you never saw it, I recommend checking your Junk/Spam folder just in case it landed there by mistake.

Here’s a brief summary of what our team suggested:

As a first troubleshooting step, can you please try:

  • logging out of your account in both the web browser and the desktop app

  • clearing your desktop app’s cache.

Here’s how to clear the desktop app cache on a Mac:

  1. Quit the Figma desktop app

  2. Open Terminal.app and enter the following command: rm -rf "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Figma/"{Desktop,DesktopProfile}

  3. Try opening the desktop app again

Here’s how to clear the desktop app cache on Windows:

  1. Close the Figma desktop app

  2. Open the Start menu, and paste in this, followed by enter: %APPDATA%\Figma

  3. In the window that opens, delete the Desktop and DesktopProfile folders if they exist

  4. Launch the desktop app again

  • un-installing and re-installing the desktop app.

Let us know how that goes! And in the meantime, are you able to access your Figma homepage in the web browser?

Hello, I have the same issue. I’ve tried re-installing the app, flushing caches & preferences and still have this issue.

Hey @Stephane_Fournier1,

Sorry to hear that. Please reach out to the support team directly via this form for further help: Submit a Request

I resolved my problem by uninstalling Figma app and by deleting everything related to Figma from C:/Users/your_user_name/AppData folder (I am Windows user). And then I reinstall Figma, and it worked!
