Hi Figma!

As a digital agency working on various apps and services, we’re currently using Figma to export assets for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. According to your guide on exports Figma currently does not support the export of PNG images without an alpha channel, which is a requirement by Apple for delivering those assets.

Our apps require assets to be in many different sizes and languages and we’re well on our way of automating the creation of those assets with a connected dataset in Figma. Not having the ability to export PNG’s without alpha is a big game breaker when it comes efficiency, causing us to use third party software to convert up to 200+ assets.

We really wish to see this setting added and we’re curious to see if it can be included on the roadmap.

Many thanks in advance!
