When I am trying to switch for a dev mode I get an option of sending a request for dev mode support to the design owner. I am using a professional license and so is the design owner. I was told that if the design owner will approve my request, it will be billed with an additional fee (the design owner has a professional license as well). How can I switch to dev mode? what king of license I need?

Thanks for reaching out. Figma’s pricing is based on a team. If you create a Professional team, and add paid seats to it, those seats are tied to that Professional team’s subscription. If you want to edit design files or access Dev mode on a another Professional team, then you’ll need a separate paid seat on that team’s subscription. You can see more details in these articles:
