Thanks for flagging this! I am not able to reproduce the issue on browser and desktop app. I tried ‘copy’ and ‘paste’, and ‘duplicate variable’

• Could you clarify whether the issue occurs on the browser, desktop app, or both?

• To begin troubleshooting, I recommend clearing the cache on the desktop app and/or browser, then force-quitting and restarting Figma to see if that resolves the issue.

• If the problem is only on the desktop app, please ensure you are using the latest version of Figma. You can check for updates by clicking Figma > Check For Updates... in the top right corner of the desktop app.
