Hello!

I don’t understand why i’m not able to see the “Open session” button.

I have already read the documentation here : https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/4410786053911-Invite-visitors-to-an-open-session : “Open sessions are only available on paid plans. This includes accounts with Education status. If you don't see the option to start an open session in the share modal, it usually means the file is still in your drafts. To start an open session in that file, you'll need to move it into a team space.

Our setup seems ok:

  • We are on a Paid plan
  • We have created a dedicated “Team” (because the previous team was hidden, i thought it was the issue), settings :
    • Access :

      • Anyone in “my company” can edit this team

      • Team admins and owners can change this setting.

    • Transfer
      • Only “my company” admins can select an external organization to manage this team.

  • I’m part of this team and i can edit
  • I have created a figjam file inside this team
    • When i open the “share” options i can’t see the “Open session button”

Can you help me please? 🙏

Hi @Gautier Vigerie, Thanks for getting in touch and for sharing your setup!

I have a quick question: Could you double-check with your organization's admin to see if open sessions are turned on in the organization settings?

Organization admins can disable open sessions at the organization level to ensure alignment with the company's information security practices.

For more details, please take a look at “Disable open sessions in FigJam” section in Manage public link sharing and open sessions

Hope this helps, and thanks again for reaching out!
