Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on a Figma project with a remote team, and while the platform is fantastic, I’m running into a few collaboration challenges. I’d love to hear how others handle similar situations.

First, I’m looking for tools or workflows that streamline communication and feedback during the design process. I came across (https://higgdominorp.id/), I’m curious if anyone has other recommendations, especially for tools that integrate well with Figma.

Second, I’m having trouble keeping everyone aligned on design iterations. Does anyone have tips for organizing files, comments, or version control to avoid confusion?

Lastly, I’d love to hear how others manage time zones and asynchronous work in remote Figma teams. Are there any specific techniques or tools you’ve found particularly useful?

Thanks in advance for your help! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions.

Hey Niki781,

I’ve run into similar challenges with remote teams on Figma. For streamlining communication and feedback, I’ve found integrating Slack (with Figma notifications) or Microsoft Teams really helpful. Tools like Loom for quick video walkthroughs can also make feedback more personal, even asynchronously.

For organizing files and version control, setting up a clear naming convention and folder structure in Figma has saved me a ton of time. I also rely on Figma’s built-in version history and comments to keep everyone on the same page during iterations.

Regarding time zones, I’ve had success using tools like World Time Buddy to schedule overlapping work sessions and relying on shared documents (like in Notion or Google Docs) to capture design decisions and updates that everyone can refer to later.
