Keep accessing project after removing premission

Does this designer still have access to the team that the project belongs to?

If someone has access to the team, removing them from the project will only remove their explicit access to the project. They can still access and interact with the project based on their team permissions.

My project is not under any team I can only access only it from “Recent”, yet I checked my team “share” tab at the right corner I didn’t find any share user under it only my name as owner.

Hey @pwi23270, sorry for the confusion!

Projects in Figma are organized within teams, so you can only create a new project in a team.

Are you on a Starter plan? The Figma account associated with the email address connected to your forum profile appears to be connected to 3 different teams, but only one with you as the Owner.

For Starter plans, team members access projects based on the project’s team access level, which unfortunately can only be can edit for Starter plans.

It’s likely that the former designer is still part of the team that the project exists within, which may explain why they accidentally accessed it after being removed form the project.

What option could solve this issue?

1. Transfer files into new project in a Team under my ownership?
2. Upload the project files into another account and delete this project?
3. Upgrade and claim ownership of the not showing teams?

Update: I contacted him, he confirmed that he has an access so I moved my files into another project of my creation and told him to delete the old under his permission.
