Hey there,
The fonts list is updated periodically, every three months or so. So if this font was only recently added to Google Fonts, it may not be available immediately.

This is a callback to a ticket opened by @Tsogt_Erdenebal back in May, requesting for the variable option for “Nunito Sans” to be made available, since it exists at Google Fonts.
Now, it’s December and we are still waiting for such feature. I wonder how much longer do we have to wait.
