Question

How to make fixed position overlay? (sticky position)

Ayako

Hi everyone! I wanna make fixed position overlay.
I found the similar topics but could not find solitions.

What I want to do is
-When users hover a list, the list change the colour (I created variant component).
-At the same time, the detail of the list appears on the light of the list.
-The lists scroll vertically, but the detail stays fixed.

Here is the screen video.

The hover effect on the list does not work well too.
If you could have a look at it too, would be so helpful!

Thank you in advance:)

Hi Ayako san,

Thanks for the post! How about using variables? I think you can set up two different layers for hovering over each theme. I made a simplified explanation:

There may be a few ways to do this, but this is the idea I have for now! If there’re are good ways, I’m really curious about that too.

I want to use sticky position for the prototype.
So I applied open overlay(the details on the right) to the each list.
But the details move with the scrolling lists.
So I was thinking if variables is possible for the right part.
Or using components set somehow.

Here is the current situation (a bit messy…)

Thank you in advance!
