Prior to multi-edit when you selected 2 or more objects, not contained in the same frame or group, the canvas would show a surrounding selection box and dimensions at the bottom in the centre.
Now this only works for objects within the same frame or group and no longer shows for objects in different frames/components.
This was really helpful for alignment and dimension adjustments.
