I’d like instances of a component (variants with 2 sizes) within a container component (auto layout) to resize so that the space left is resized. Changing variants in the container component it works fine. Changing variants in instances of the container component it selects the other variant but the size does not change. When detaching the container component and changing variants twice (?!) it works again… What am I doing wrong? Any Different approaches? Link to Figma design

Autolayout within component behaves differently when detached

I’d like instances of a component (variants with 2 sizes) within a container component (auto layout) to resize so that the space left is resized.

Changing variants in the container component it works fine.
Changing variants in instances of the container component it selects the other variant but the size does not change.
When detaching the container component and changing variants twice (?!) it works again…

What am I doing wrong? Any Different approaches?

Ah! I got it! the test-area components need to be auto-layout for them to resize in the container.

Hope this helps anybody…
