Figma Free Team, but FigJam Professional?

Borut_Bolcina

Hi, can we have a Free Starter Team Figma and a paid FigJam Professional on the same account?

One-person bootstrapping company.

Thanks! đź’™

Should be no problem if you yourself have a professional plan. When you have a FigJam file, you should see an option within the “Share” module to start an open 24 hour session:

You won’t be charged for any additional people if you open the file for a 24 hour session – anyone you share a link to the file with will be able to come in and out as they please during that window to add any stickies, shapes, etc.

In terms of limitations, I’d recommend reviewing this page for numbers and other info.

Those are generally the limits you should consider when collaborating in the same FigJam file. However, I’d also recommend taking into consideration how busy your file may be when you’re running a session in general (it could get overwhelming even without being close to the limits).

Hey! You’re looking to just have FigJam only, correct? You can do this with the following steps that are also provided on this help page.

  1. Click the “free” icon that is next to the team you want to upgrade and have the FigJam seat under.
  2. Click “upgrade to professional” on either monthly or annually — you’ll then be brought to a selection menu like this screenshot:

You can then select FigJam from there. Hope this helps!

Thank you @ksn.

Does that allow me to host a workshop where people use sticky notes and other interactive tools?

How many people can I invite by email, and how much would that cost?

Is there a way to extend the time someone with a free account can edit? Let’s say 48-72 hrs instead of the 24 hrs.
