Hi everyone. I’m fairly new to Figma, I’m at the point where I’m trying to prototype my website so I can demo it for my client. I’m having some trouble understanding how to link up the navigation (header nav). I can link one page by connecting all the individual nav items to the appropriate frames but I was hoping there was a way to duplicate this rather than manually do the same for every page (frame).

Is there a shortcut / best practice approach?

many thanks

In order to solve your problem, you need to create a component from the “header nav” layer and connect items with layouts, and place instances of this component on other layouts. Or, since you have already connected the navigation items to the layouts, copy the “header nav” layer and replace it on the other frames.

Did this answer the question? I’m in the same boat, I want my nav to be on every frame, but don’t want to copy/paste 50 times.
