Dragging interaction: can you do it so you only drag left? Not drag in all directions

So currently I have a box I want to drag left and it will go to the other artboard but if you drag up, down, right etc it will also go to the other artboard, this is a problem since I want to be able to scroll past the box to other content on this same artboard, not to the other artboard? Is this not available in Figma? If so I’ll move this post to the share an idea.

Please comment even if you only have small ideas 🙂 Also please tell me if this can’t be done.

The issue likely lies with the object you’re attempting to drag, specifically the frame or shape to which you’re applying the drag interaction.

What I think is, that you are currently dragging an object that is not positioned properly or scales to fill the following artboard.

  1. Apply drag interactions to the object.
  2. Confirm that the object ends up on the left side of its original position after dragging.

still doesnt prevent drags to any direction from performing the action we want only a left drag to perform the action
