Question

How to maintain the Y-position when scaling a frame? Bug from new update?

YXDesign

The Y position of my frame keeps changing. I want my content to scale to the bottom instead of from the center.

But somehow I magically fixed it while I was recording my screen. Where can I find the setting to keep it fixed?

Screen record

Edit: While the Y-position is now fixed, my frame auto layout was automatically changed from Hug to Fixed, which is not what I wanted

It sounds like the auto-layout settings might be affecting the Y-position when scaling. Check if the frame’s constraints are set to “Top” or “Bottom” instead of “Center.” Also, reverting the auto-layout back to “Hug” might help restore the original behavior.

I have the same problem now. I use auto layout to communicate how the page contents should resze on different screen sizes.

Before, I could resize the frame (width) whithout altering the Y coordinate of the top left corner. Now it resizes from the center, no matter what I do - resulting in an incredibly messy workspace 😭

I’m also experiencing this. It must be a recent bug, because it didn’t behave like this before. Very frustrating.
