Figma Present - 'The page you are looking for can't be found'

Pdodo

I have a problem where some external people are unable to view the Figma Present files, and some can.

I have created my document and choose ‘present’:

I then choose ‘share presentation’ and have selected ‘ANYONE’ can view without password…

I have tested this locally on various machines, and various browsers and it works fine. I have also tested in incognito mode - again works fine for me…

However, various recipients are seeing the following error, saying the page can not be found:

Any ideas how to solve this problem? It’s rather embarresing and frustrating when sharing a pitch deck that is a lottery on who can see it.

Hey there, thank you for flagging it!
Hmm this looks odd that in incognito mode, user can view it but some other users can see it.

To cover some grounds, please make sure you follow these steps:

  1. lease click the "play" icon and select "Present."

If the issue persists, I recommend reaching out directly to our support team and please providing a copy of your file so they can investigate it further: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001744374

Make sure to use your Figma email account, include a link to the file, and add support-share@figma.com as an Editor, so they can take a closer look. Thank you!
