[View-only mode] Hover over variable no longer shows its value

Previously when you’re viewing a Figma file as a viewer (so without edit permissions) you could hover over variables in the properties panel to view its (px) value.

This seems to be broken now as there no longer is any hover state anymore.

This means it’s a lot more difficult to figure out values such as corner radius when you’re not an editor.

Hey All, thanks for flagging this!

Our variables team confirmed that this is a bug, and they’re already proactively working on a fix. It should be launched by next Wednesday, 9/18.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

It looks the same. Has this bug not been fixed?
