Change bullets into numbers and vice versa

Currently there is no way to change bullets to a numbered list without manually going through and adding the numbers yourself. This seems like a simple option that could be added by making it a dropdown and allowing the user to select bullet styles.

Context:
I am working on a heuristic evaluation with fellow product designers. Unfortunately we are in a position where we have hundreds of bulleted lists within tables, and we need to show that comments in one column related to comments in another column (columns: problem, recommendation, rating). Seemingly the best way to do this is to number the comments in each column.

hey @Stef! I’m thinking I’ve misunderstood your ask, but wanted to throw out there that you can actually format the list to numbers:

Can you let me know if I totally misunderstood, and let me know a bit more about what you’re looking for?

HI @ksn ,

My apologies, I never mentioned this issue is specific to FigJam. I’m hoping for that same functionality! Ideally for any text list in FigJam instead of just showing bullet styling, it would be a dropdown or toggle with an option to change the format. I’ve added a screenshot 🙂

OH! Got it - you’re right that natively, it’s just bullet points.

There could be a widget in the community that can be a band-aid for this, but I’m not sure of any off the top of my head. Would recommend taking a look to see if something may work for you!

I’ll mark this feedback on my end, and leave this topic open for others to vote on 😊

I also frequently want to be able to change a bulleted list in FigJam to a numbered list. The numbered list option only appears on the toolbar when you manually replace a bullet with a number.

+1 to this request. I would also like to have numbered lists in FigJam
