Bulk ready for dev

Simon31

Hi all, is it possible to bulk apply ready for dev at all? On one of my massive projects it would be great to select several frames and set them as ready, rather than one at a time.

Hey Simon, thanks for your feedback.
This is not possible at the moment, I’ve switched your topic as ‘Share an idea’ so other can vote your idea and share their interest!

Hi @Celine_Figma, great thank you. 🙂

Simon31 I think I found a workaround: to bulk-select frames, switch to “Design” mode. Bulk-select all of your frames, then switch to “Dev” mode and click “Mark as Ready For Dev” (it will show in the left-hand menu, just above “Layers” panel).

Correct me if I’m wrong, but this was possible in UI2 right? Is this no longer possible? Why? Is this because Figma’s vision not to set separate frames as ready for dev, but whole sections?

For us I want a bulk actions. As icon in the UI as in UI2 or as an Action (⌘K).

Issue is on extremely large pages there are way too many frames along with other items around them so selecting all will include the other items which can’t then be set to ready for dev. 😦

Would be good to have a select all “frames” feature to then mark as ready for dev. This would solve my issue.

I found the solution for bulk action to set frames to ‘Ready for dev’. After retrying to search for the option in the action (⌘K) panel, I found the action. I think I’ve overlooked it the first time.
