Clip frame content in prototype but not in Design mode

When working on frames containing scrollable content, I often end up having to toggle clipping on and off to switch between editing the content and preparing for prototyping. It would be amazing if we could have an option that made “Clip content” apply only in Prototype mode and not in Design mode.

Scrollable content usually placed inside container that is smaller than content inside it, so it’s not affected to prototype. Why do you need to clip it for prototype? Can you share example?

@Nellya of course, here’s an example! The problem occurs when the scroll container is smaller than its own containing frame. A realistic example of this is scrollable bottom sheets on mobile mockups. In my attached example, the unclipped scroll container frame shows a stack of cells. When playing in the prototype, the lack of clipping means that when the contents are scrolled, the cells bleed out of the top of the container.

Oh, i see. You can make this sheet a component without clip content, but in main frame add it in another container frame with a clip content. It’s not a perfect solution, but at least you won’t have to turn it on and off all the time and can edit it any time.
