Petr_Sevcovic

Drag and drop to shuffle properties of components doesnt work with new UI. It work fine on old one.

This seems to be very hit and miss as to when it works and doesn’t work (doesn’t most of the time).

In UI3, I am unable reorder the values in a variant property of a component. I have a progress bar trying to go from 0% to 100%, but the values are stuck and not in the same order in the autolayout frame of the variant.

I’m having the same issue and it’s a really annoying bug. Can you guys help us here?

Yesterday, suddenly, I couldn’t reorder property values while I created my components.
Dragging them doesn’t work.
It is frustrating for me to work without this feature, it is very important for my system’s organisation.

I found some topics back in 2022 that this bug happened again.

Values of Properties were fixed, but not reordering the Properties of a Component. When is that going to be fixed?

Hi there,

Thanks for the comment! I think it seems to be working.

Please let me share the help center article for more information on reordering. Variant properties always appear above other property types in the right sidebar. They can be reordered among other variant properties but not with different property types.

I hope this clarifies things, but feel free to let me know if I missed anything important!

Thanks,
Toku

Well it wasn’t working at the time that I posted. Before I posted I restarted the app and even checked on the online version. Both had the same issue. Now the handle bars are present when I hover over the property.

Thanks for assuming I didn’t know how to use the app. 👍

I am still having this issue in my Figma. In the file I created the component in the variants are in one order, but whenever I bring it into another file the order does not match. Is this a known bug that is getting fixed?

I’m also still having this issue as of nov 19!

Simon_Archer

I’m also having this issue, where I’m unnable to drag suffix and prefix below, so the “Suffix Label” is underneath the “Suffix” toggle

Smith_Samuel_D

Hey Simon! This is a feature of Figma and not a bug. Variant properties are forced to be at the top of the list, while all other property types (Text, Instance Swap, and Boolean) can be re-ordered below the Variant properties. 🙂
