Keyboard shortcut to add/remove fill or borders

nchandna

It would be nice to have a keyboard shortcut to toggle between the stroke/no stroke and fill/no-fill states on a shape. It’s easy to do in Sketch but couldn’t find if it’s possible in Figma.

sad that there hasn’t been much interest in this, it’d be such an useful shortcut… We have a shortcut for Slice, does anybody use that? lol

Definitely would be really nice to have this!

you can use Shift + X

Shift + X will swap the fill and stroke rather than add or remove either of them.

Technically, there are shortcuts to remove fills (Alt + /) and to remove strokes (Shift + /), but these shortcuts currently don’t toggle them back on or add them to a shape without any. I think it would be really nice and fairly straightforward to allow for this functionality.

Very much in support of having a shortcut to add a fill!
