When facing the problem of big heavy files I feel like the option to select a page and convert it to the new separate file might be really helpful.
Creating a figma file from the page
Not sure why this excellent idea has no votes?!
I’ve been cleaning up my personal team space, and my ‘Scratch’ file is overflowing with individual pages I need to migrate to files. This feature would make the process so much easier!
Yes we need the feature to convert a page into a file, copy paste is not good enough, reason:
- the comments can’t be copy pasted.
- retain the file URL so don’t have to remap for any use case.
Why this feature? I usually start with one file with many pages. When I feel that page needs to become a standalone file for easier tracking or more content, I want to convert that page into a file.
Advance feature would be to move any page to a file. Thank you
