Add "on release" destination when using "while pressing" interaction

Riley

Currently (to my knowledge) there is no way to create a Pressed state in an interactive component that also toggles, such as a radio button or checkbox. Currently, when using the “while pressing” interaction, on release it always goes back to the prior state. For example, if you want distinct hover and press states for a radio button, it will send you back to the hover state with nothing selected while pressing. Instead, I’d like it to change to the selected state instead.

It’s subtle, but if you look at Uber’s radio button, it has distinct hover, press, and selected states. I don’t want to be forced to remove my intended press state just because Figma can’t display an interactive component this way.

The solution would look like an option to “Set release destination” in the prototype panel when “while hovering” is selected.
