Please improve the iOS Figma app

The app is quite buggy lately. While mirroring it disconnects, or the screen goes dark, then I have close the app sometimes or restart the prototype doesn’t work. Also, the app is rendering a light grey outline on elements that have a light grey background fill, its kind of annoying. I love your product but please fix these bugs, we rely a lot on how things look on app to make decisions.

For problems with mirroring, we’d appreciate if you could check the following steps which clear most problems:

  1. Log out of Figma on both the mobile app and your desktop browser/app.
  2. Restart your phone to clear the app cache.
  3. Clear the cache in your browser or the Desktop app (You can clear the desktop app cache on a Mac in the Help menu under Troubleshooting, and on Windows under the toggle-arrow at the right of the top toolbar under Help > Troubleshooting).
  4. Login into both the desktop app/browser and the mobile app using the same account and check to see if mirroring is improved.

In many cases, we’ve found that updating your OS can help improve how well the app runs. If you are able to update your iOS, we’d suggest doing so to check if this helps.
