Lost the Layers Panel in a Figma Slides presentation while in the Slide view.
I can see the Layers panel in Grid view, though. I had the Layers panel before in Slide view, but now it’s gone, and I can’t find how to retrieve it (or even how I changed the settings).

I’m also a bit confused by the certain things that become unavailable switching between Design/Slide view. I want to have the layers panel always visible. I’m also finding the design panel generally more comfortable to use, however, you also have limitation on the control bar at the bottom, e.g. not being able to drop in prototypes etc. Is there a way we can customise the control bar and have more flexibility over what shows on the left hand panel?

Hey @Carla_Gomez, thanks for reaching out and sorry for the trouble!
The Slides team recently launched a Design mode shortcut (Shift +D), which should toggle your layers panel on/off, as needed.
In design mode, I can’t find ‘Layer Panel’.
design mode - grid view : layer panel (O)
design mode - slide view : layer panel (X)
slide mode : layer panel (X)
Thesedays, I can’t find layer panel in design mode(slide view).
I miss my Layer Panel

This is a problem for me too. I just recently started using slides, and at first I could see the layers panel in design mode, but now it’s gone.
Edit:
Going to Help > Troubleshooting > Clear Cache and Restart brought it back.

@Seobin_Lee This seems to be a bug to me.
Worked for me, too
