Improve Slide Deck Delete Function

Hey! I’m a long-time Figma user and I’m finding the ability to delete objects on Slide Decks’ is frustrating.

Here is what I’m doing:

  1. Select Group
  2. Press Delete on the Keyboard
  3. Nothing happens. It deletes the scale words (1x).

This is extremely annoying as you would expect it to function like how the old Figma UI would. Figma, PLEASE FIX!

Deleting grouped objects from a Slide seems to be working as expected on our end. Are you in design mode when this happens? Are you able to share a screen recording of what’s happening on your end?

With more context, we can pass this onto our Figma Slides team for improvment.
