Hey Lars, welcome to the community and thank you for your feedback about invoice.
At this time, as part of our security policy it is not possible to receive invoices via email, but we will pass your feedback to our team to see if we can make a change to this in the future!
As a reminder, any user with an owner or admin permission on a team with an active Professional subscription can access past invoices within Figma. Here’s how to do this:
- Log into Figma
- Select your team on the left side of the file browser
- Click on Billing
- Click on View invoice in the right-hand Status column to view or download your monthly or annual billing statement.
Here’s a guide from our Help Center with more information on this: View and download subscription invoices.
Feel also free to vote up your idea next to the topic’s title 🗳️
I agree with Lars.
Invoices should be attached to emails. Other SaaS don’t have problems with it.
Logging in just to grab an invoice is very inconvenient.
Also I have noticed Figma has got a nice feature in “Settings”:
“Billing contacts” - “Choose who gets email notifications about renewals, invoices, and payments.”
I would put there our Accounts Team alias email - but a notification without an attached Invoice is useless for them. They have no Figma login credentials 🙁
Best regards.
Yes please. This feature is over-due!
Please provide this email function to avoid annoying manual processes for each and every invoce. Thanks.
Please provide e-mail support, preferably as PDF as well as UBL XML invoices. Everyone in the EU (at least) has this issue. I have to manually chase invoices every month for our bookkeeper and it’s a pain.
If it’s a security issue, just make it an opt-in configuration and let me accept the risk.
Please provide this feature.
It’s funny how American businesses don’t understand our simple needs in Europe.
Generally speaking, the billing tab is quite hard to find. I’d love to receive invoices via e-mail as an attachment.
I 100% agree! I definitely need invoice per mail or any other automated flow where invoices will be saved in a storage of mine.
I would like to +1 this issue…
However … I fear this has nothing to do with Figma, instead this is an issue of Stripe, the invoicing system Figma is using. I saw Stripe being used also by Miro and other online collaborative software solutions, and its the same story there - every month one has to log in, find the billing section, downloads the PDFs, send them to the purchasing department.
Found this

@vasja.urh we use Stripe as a payment provider for the apps we build in our company and it really is not that complicated to configure Stripe to just send these emails with an attached pdf. Also we use https://toggl.com/ for time tracking, they use Stripe and we get monthly emails from them…
But maybe the Figma PMs can let their dev team know about the link you posted here :)
+1 please…. it’s annoying to download manually invoices...
+1 as well.. Can’t be that hard to implement
Our finance department is also not a fan of this manual proces as it breeds mistakes.
Please include an update in which I can select an email address to forward all invoices to!
I second this as well. Every month the same “discussion” with bookkeeping...
+1 this is really a pain in my neck.
Also it would be needed, that the invoice mail address can be defined, and another than the user account.
Same problem here in UK and France, we need this feature too.
I’m considering cancelling my paid seats if this don’t get fixed. It’s absolutely insane to have this do manually every single month.
Yes, this is a really annoying thing to have to do each month… Please fix this!
The same issue in our organization.
We have the same problem and same discussions with bookkeeper. When payment is past due (fe. limit on payment card exceeded) you sent invoice as e-mail attachment in PDF. So please don’t say it’s because of “security policy”.
With best
I would like to get the invoice via email. This is an annoying lack of features.
Please provide this as an option in the admin settings. I need to do manual work now to send the pdf’s to the accountant.
Yes please, a very BIG +1 from me as well.
