This is a problem for entire main-land Europe. PDF invoices on a customisable billing email is the absolute minimum. Please, please, please look into attaching a UBL format as well for automated processing, or better yet: Peppol invoicing 🙏

How on earth can this be part of a security policy? What are you securing?

Any news on that?

Invoice must be attached with the email when charged. Hope this feature gets implemented soon.

Same here, this should be done automatically, at least being sent to the admins/owners of the accounts. Any updates on this @Celine_ ?

Many thanks

Ester

I would like to add my support for this as well! Nearly every other SaaS product we use has this, including Miro which appears to use the same payment platform. It makes me frustrated with Figma every month...

Please, please, at least the the invoice to the owner or only to admins. Pleeeeeease

For us this is also a big issue. We would prefer having the option to pay by wire transfer after receiving an invoice, as our corporate policy is to use credit cards only when there is no other option due to the extra administrative tasks and the lack of an 4-eye approval flow before payments are made.

When credit cards are used, we are still required to follow 4-eye approval after the payment has been done based on the invoice PDF. Our systems can automatically import attachments from email, so it is another big disappointment that Figma is not able to send the invoice PDF as attachment to an email.

For us, this means our Figma-admin needs to manually login to the portal and download the invoice every month, then our finance team needs to manually match the invoice with the withdrawals on the credit card statement and manually enter this in the finance-system (bank account statements are automatically imported, but this is not possible for credit card statements), and then we need to finish the 4-eye approval flow. And all this manual work every month.

So not providing an alternative method to pay except credit card is already a disappointment, made worse by not giving the option to add the PDF as attachment to the payment mail. I know for sure we are not the only (European) company that has these issues, as our workflow is quite common for corporates in Europe.

In a 200+ employee division part of a corporate with over 65.000 employees, we have many licensed products. Figma is the only one that creates so much overhead in processing the invoices. It would be much appreciated if Figma can adapt their payment options to accommodate companies like us.

Agreed, American companies often simply don’t get how restrictive accounting is in Europe and the rigid process / internal policies companies over here have because of it.

It’s so frustrating that American companies sometimes just ignore that a world and users outside the U.S. exist.

Please finally add this feature.

You have to understand that the way things are right now this creates additional cost for companies where people don’t just spend time chasing and forwarding invoices, but then arguing with Accounting etc. I mean just look at the fact that tools like InvoiceFetcher or GetMyInvoices exist to understand how real of a problem this is for EU companies. We should not have to pay another SaaS fee just to get Figma Invoices into accounting pipelines automatically.

It’s honestly shameful that a company of Figma’s size acts like they’re a B2C company making users chase invoices, when they very much are not, and automated invoices are a B2B standard over here.
Adobe would surely have fixed that as one of the first orders of business after acquisition.

I also vote for this feature. An alternative would be to use a third-party service that automatically downloads the invoices, but I would strongly prefer to avoid sharing my credentials with a third party just to automate invoice retrieval. If this feature is not implemented, however, I see no other viable option.

From my perspective, the security argument actually works the other way around: attaching invoices to emails would be more secure in my case, as it removes the need for a third-party service altogether. Manually downloading invoices every time is not a practical option.

+1 country.

Is there any workaround via API or so? Or will Figma ignore this forever.

Don’t want to be rude, but seriously Figma, you’ve got to join the 21st century here. This is basic stuff and kind of unprofessional. +1

This is a must-have! For anyone currently tearing their hair out over this, I’ve been using a browser extension to 'auto-print to PDF' from the link, but it's a clunky workaround. A native email attachment is definitely the standard expectation for a pro tool like Figma. Come on guys, let's make it happen!
