Feature Name: Pages

Description: Introduce a "Pages" feature within Figma Buzz files, allowing users to create and navigate between multiple distinct pages within a single document. Each page would function as a separate canvas for content, behaving similarly to pages in Figma Design files or FigJam files.

Core Functionality:

  1. Add/Delete Pages: A simple interface to add new blank pages and delete existing ones.

  2. Page Navigation: A clear sidebar or dropdown menu to easily switch between pages.

  3. Page Naming/Renaming: Ability to name and rename pages for better organization.

  4. Content Isolation: Content on one page should not interfere with or be directly visible on other pages, maintaining distinct, independent workspaces.

Benefits:

Adding "Pages" to Figma Buzz would significantly enhance organization, collaboration, and content planning capabilities, offering several key benefits:

  • Improved Performance on Low-Hardware Devices: By segmenting content across multiple pages, Figma Buzz would only need to load the content of the currently active page. This significantly reduces the memory and processing power required, making the application run more smoothly and load pages more easily on devices with lower hardware specifications. This improves accessibility and provides a better user experience for a wider range of users.

  • Reduced File Management Overhead: Instead of creating and managing numerous separate Figma Buzz files for different marketing content pieces (e.g., one for social media, one for email, one for a specific campaign launch) for a single brand, users can consolidate all related content into one master file with multiple pages. This drastically reduces the time spent on file organization, searching for specific content, and ensures everything related to a brand's marketing efforts is centrally located.

  • Holistic Campaign Planning: For any single brand, users can plan an entire campaign within one Figma Buzz file. Each page can represent a different phase (e.g., "Awareness," "Consideration," "Conversion"), a different platform (e.g., "Instagram," "Facebook," "Email"), or a different content type (e.g., "Stories," "Posts," "Reels"). This centralizes all campaign assets and strategies, making it easier to maintain consistency and track progress.

  • Streamlined Annual Content Calendars: Users can manage a full year of marketing content within a single file. Each page could represent a month, a quarter, or a specific marketing initiative, allowing for a high-level overview and detailed planning in one accessible location. This vastly improves content strategy and execution efficiency.

  • Improved Organization & Clarity: Complex projects or extensive content plans can be broken down into manageable sections, reducing clutter and improving visual clarity within the workspace.

  • Enhanced Collaboration: Teams can work on different aspects of a project simultaneously on separate pages without overwriting or interfering with each other's work, fostering more efficient parallel development.

  • Easier Presentation & Review: Presenting different stages of a project or various content iterations becomes seamless, as stakeholders can navigate through distinct pages rather than scrolling through a single, long canvas.

Subject: A Gentle Monday Reminder: Pleading for Pages Support in FigJam

Hello to the fantastic Figma team,

This is just a very gentle Monday morning reminder about a feature that would bring much-needed organization to our biggest and most complex FigJam files.

We know you are incredibly busy building the future of collaboration, and we truly appreciate it. It's completely understandable that with so much going on, a core organizational feature like this might get lost in the shuffle of other amazing new developments.

That is the only reason I am writing. I just want to gently bring this idea back to your attention. We are humbly and desperately begging you to please consider adding Pages support to FigJam. For anyone running large workshops, mapping complex ecosystems, or simply trying to keep a massive brainstorm organized, the lack of pages is a significant challenge that creates a lot of friction.

Please forgive my persistence, but this feature is so fundamental for organization that I plan to post a gentle reminder here every Monday. My goal is simply to be a quiet, consistent voice, hoping to highlight how valuable this would be for your users.

We are pleading with you to please help us bring order to our creative chaos.

Thank you for your amazing work and for listening.
