Currently, my project contains over 100 pages, and it has become quite difficult to find the one I need.
To make navigation easier, I’ve been visually categorizing pages using emojis and dividers, roughly dividing them into 10 visual categories. However, even with that, I often end up getting lost while searching for a specific page.

So, I’d like to propose two feature ideas inspired by how Slack organizes channels in its sidebar:
1. Add a structural “Category” system for pages
Each page could belong to a category (including an “Uncategorized” one).
-
Categories would be collapsible, making it easier to compactly view large sets of pages.
-
All members in a file would share the same category structure.
For context, I actually created a plugin that categorizes and lets users jump between pages:
👉 Fast Page Selector (Figma Community)
However, since it needs to be manually launched every time, it didn’t quite become a daily habit.
That’s why I hope this feature can be built directly into Figma.

2. Add a “Star” feature for personal quick access
Allow each user to star pages they frequently use, which would then appear at the top of their page list.
-
Stars would be personal — other collaborators wouldn’t see them.
-
This would be very helpful for example when a new engineer joins the “D Project” and wants to keep those pages easily accessible.

I believe these two additions would make large projects far easier to navigate and manage collaboratively.
Thank you for considering this! 🙏
