Fr/Percent units for more control over auto layout content

It’s kinda of incredible this hasn’t been prioritized yet. I’d be really curious what stopped it. There must be a technical reason this is difficult for them because it’s an obviously missing feature

need this feature.

Absolute shame on Figma for once again neglecting this.

Hm, sad that they again didn’t announce something like that at Config. I wonder how they expect us to do it then? Should we use Autolayout grids for that (if possible)? Should we use the cumbersome layout columns? Or am I missing something? Why are they avoiding this? If “fill” already works, then “30% of parent width” should also work…

Don’t get me wrong, these are great products they announced put a good round of “little big updates” would have made me even happier. And I assume fraction- or percentage-values could be one of those.
